Class date received!!!!

Finally. Thanks to the dilligence, patience, and awesome work ethic of the powers that be, I have my class date. With Phase 1 of WOCS already out of the way thanks to the Distance Learning portion (way to get with the times folks!), it looks like class 12 of FY 08 and then class 20 for 2C-IERW, Common Core (Contact, Instrument, and BWS/BNAV).

What does this all mean? Well, in looking at the ATRRS school report list, if all goes to plan then I should be cranking through the program with a minimal wait which is great because as much as I am looking forward to going, I am looking more forward to having the program done and over with so that I can get back, get through my readiness level progressions, make PC, and be off to the desert to become a combat pilot. Then all will be right with the world in my eyes. I am sure that there will be lots to do back here at home with the Guard as well. There are always active support missions to do, fire bucket training, etc. etc. I am truly looking forward to the becoming a better pilot and am very interested to see what this will do to the aviation skills that I already have.

I have found out that I have to re-do my flight physical because WOCS won't take it if it more than 18 months from the EXAM DATE, not the date of the stamp that shows it was approved. According to the flight medics, this 1W should go much faster as it is only an update and I already have one that is approved.

ONWARD!
